         <description><![CDATA[<div>As a program specialist working with Advanced Studies teachers and administrators, crucial conversations might center around teacher development. The district provides opportunities for AP, IB and other Advanced Studies teachers who often teach in isolation of a PLC, to meet a number of times throughout the year. While attendance at these PLCs is consistent, they are consistently attended by the same teachers. This crucial conversation would require building a relationship with a site based administrator in order to help them understand the benefits to collaboration and planning time for teachers.<br><br>tl;dr: APs don't want to send their teachers to district-wide PLCs because they want them in the classroom.</div>]]></description>
