The district provides opportunities for AP, IB and other Advanced Studies teachers who often teach in isolation of a PLC, to meet a number of times throughout the year. While attendance at these PLCs is consistent, they are consistently attended by the same teachers. This crucial conversation would require building a relationship with a site based administrator in order to help them understand the benefits to collaboration and planning time for teachers.
