His theatre credits include ‘The Twilight Zone’ at the Almeida Theatre,’The Trial’ at  Young Vic, ‘A Christmas Carol’ & ‘World Cup 66’ at Bristol Old Vic, ‘Twilight Zone’ in the West End. Also, work with acclaimed companies Shunt, Sound&Fury, Inspector Sands & FUEL. As a theatre maker he co-wrote & appeared in ‘The Summer House’ with Will Adamsdale (UK tour, Gate London, published by Oberon books) & for 15 years was with Cartoon de Salvo company, making & performing in shows at Lyric Hammersmith, Soho Theatre, Southwalk Playhouse, BAC, touring everywhere from village halls to Hong Kong & the Kennedy Centre in Washington.

TV includes - Dalziel & Pascoe, Casualty, Eastenders (BBC), Manhunt (with Martin Clunes) The Bill (ITV), The Killing Kind (Paramount), No Angels (CH4). His role of Gus Harper for Doctors (BBC) was nominated as ‘Best Villain’ at the 2014 British Soap Awards. He has also featured in numerous commercials, including a year talking to a mini-version of himself for a major bank.

Neil has also taught at drama schools (East15, ArtsEd, Oxford School of Drama) & Acting or Performing Arts programmes at St Mary’s Twickenham, UCW, Trinity Laban - teaching playful approaches to acting & theatre making, and directing final year productions.

Currently performing with ‘Closer Each Day’ improv company at The Wardrobe Bristol & working on two new shows:  ‘Neil Haigh’s Comedy Masterclass..ruined by Stewart Wright’ & his new play-script ‘The Right to Remain Silent’.
