One of the main reasons I chose this course was due to the connection I had with it. Being able to identify as a bilingual student who since a young age was put up against many other to be better and do better is not easy and then being told to only speak one language at home but them go to school and be told the opposite was challenging at times. Im overall excited to see how I can help others who might be like me or maybe not be bilingual and only speak Spanish.

Within my future teaching career I hope to make English easier for my student. It's not easy to be leaning 2 languages at the same time, I hope that what I learn in this course I can take it back to my classroom allow students to want and like to learn the English language.
