We can use circles to discuss the language used and why they feel the need to use it. Gain understanding of why they feel the need to repeat this word.

Some people might not understand or agree with the need to get rid of this hateful word. Others might feel overwhelmed bc the issue continues to recur and it can’t be solved by one or two people intervening. It requires a long term change in our dialogue and discourse. We need to educate our school wide community about the harm caused by hate speech and create a school wide response.
