By defeating France, Germany avenged themselves from the humiliation they had for losing the first World War and had over 3 million soldiers. The Nazi's used the excuse of war to continue to go ahead with Hitler's racist goal. They then forced Jews into compacted areas called ghettos. The German army, German police, and the SS were all involved in the mass murder of the Jews. They would gather up the Jews, send them in trucks or by foot to the place were they would be killed, removed their clothes and then shoot them. The Jews would die on terrible conditions, they were constantly being moved around. Once the Jews made it to the concentration camps they were judged by who could work and could not.
