One of my favorite historical sites in my country is Teotihuacan, located near Mexico City. This ancient city was once one of the largest in the world and is home to the famous Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon. For me, Teotihuacan symbolizes the greatness of Mexican heritage and the power of vision and community. It’s a place that reminds me of how much can be built with effort, creativity, and unity—values that inspire me in my studies and work.

I choose this one, because I am from Morelos, and I wanted to put one that could represent me. This place is in the pueblo magico de Tepoztlan, Is a place where a lot of people go if for the views or for the story. Talking a little bit of the history, is a pre-hispanic pyramid at the top of the hill dedicated to Ometochtli-Tepoztécatl, god of pulque, fertility and the harvest. I think this one is a very important symbol of Morelos, also is part of the park with the same name, which is a protected natural reserve.

After ceasing to serve official functions around 1821, it was used by the police and the Government House until 1880, and was subsequently sold to private individuals. In the 20th century, parts of the building were demolished to build homes and commercial premises, significantly reducing its original structure.

In 1936, thanks to the efforts of Senator Dr. Carlos Serrey, it was declared a National Historic Monument and restored by the State. The restoration, directed by architect Mario Buschiazzo in 1942, rebuilt corridors and rooms and replaced the weather vane, culminating in its opening as a Historical Museum in 1949. The intervention preserved and enhanced its architectural and heritage significance, ensuring its cultural legacy for future generations.

The convent is home to Discalced Carmelite nuns who live in seclusion, dedicated to prayer and manual work. For this reason, access to the inside of the convent is restricted.

One of its most emblematic features is the large carob wood door, hand-carved by indigenous people from Salta in 1762.

A curious local tradition is to bring eggs to the convent so that the nuns will pray to prevent rain on wedding days.

Its walls hold centuries of history, from the time when it was the seat of government to its transformation into a museum. In addition, inside is the Museo Histórico del Norte, where you can see ancient objects, documents, clothing and art from different periods. Each room has something to tell.

For me the Cathedral symbolizes the conection between the history, faith and identity of northern Argentina. Every time I pass by, I fell a mixture of pride in our roots and admiration for its beauty.

In 2003, it was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, not only for its stunning landscapes but also for holding over 10,000 years of cultural history. This valley was once part of a major caravan route used by indigenous peoples long before the Inca Empire extended its influence here. Later, during colonial times, it became a key path for trade and resistance.

Some of my favorite places there are Purmamarca, with its colorful hill and artisan market; Tilcara, home to a restored pre-Hispanic fortress called Pucará de Tilcara; and Humahuaca, a town full of music, legends, and local spirit. Each village feels like a small world of its own, where time slows down and stories come alive.

The photo I’m sharing represents that connection between nature, culture, and identity 🌄 . It reminds me why I chose this path: to connect people with meaningful experiences and help preserve what makes each place unique. For me, the Quebrada is not just a destination, it's a feeling, a memory, and a deep source of inspiration.

His old house has ten rooms that cover the life of General Martín Miguel de Güemes and the wars for Independence.

The museum goes back to the first years of Güemes' life, meets his relatives and his performance during the English Invasions and the Gaucho war.

Hello everyone! I'm excited to share one of my favorite historical places in my country — Salta Cathedral. It is in the heart of downtown Salta city, in the North of Argentina.

I love its beautiful pink front and peaceful atmosphere. Inside the cathedral are the sacred images of Christ of the Miracle (Señor del Milagro) and the Virgin of the Miracle (Virgen del Milagro). These images are very important to the Catholic community. According to tradition, they protected the city during a powerful earthquake in the 17th century. Since then, people have shown great devotion to them.

This site is very meaningful to me because it reflects the heritage and devotion of my community. I often visit it during religious festivals, especially during El Milagro, when thousands of people from all over the province walk to the cathedral in a huge act of faith.

It´s important to say that it´s considered one of the seven natural wonders of the world. And there it´s possible to make a lot of a activities so, if you visit it, you won't get bored.

The national park was created in 1934 and declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco in 1984.

This monument honors one of Argentina’s most important independence leaders. It stands on the slopes of San Bernardo Hill and shows Güemes on horseback, symbolizing his courage and leadership during the guerrilla war against Spanish royalists.

The location is not only historically meaningful but also offers a panoramic view of the city, making it a symbolic and inspiring place to reflect on the past and the legacy of Güemes.

The chants of the fans, the colors of the flags, and the energy of each match make the Monumental feel alive, it is the best stadium of Argentina

My favorite part is the Temple of the Inscriptions, where the famous ruler Pakal was buried. It’s incredible to think how much knowledge and culture is still buried under the ground, just waiting to be uncovered. Visiting Palenque always reminds me to stay curious and keep digging—literally and metaphorically!
