Reading/annotating poetry books is my favorite way to unwind. I love reading to my students and getting them exciting about literacy. For my retail therapy I love going to Barnes&Noble and second hand bookstores stocking up on children’s book for my future classroom.

Student Teaching

For my student teaching I was placed in the Rogers Public School District at Reagan Elementary. I attended 3 different grade levels during my time there. Each grade displayed their different forms of joys and challenges, but I enjoyed every classroom.

My friends are the ones who keep me grounded. I can always rely on my best friend Ashley to be my human diary. My friend Belle is my go to gal to vent to and swap teaching stories with. My friend Paola will never not make me laugh. Jose is my gamer buddy. Then there’s Mikayla and who is the sweetest girl I have ever met.

I start almost every morning with a cup of coffee. I am a Starbucks girly; always have been and always will be. My regular is a venti iced brown sugar shaken oat milk espresso with 2pumps of brown sugar instead of 6, topped with the vanilla sweet cream cold foam.

I grew up with my mother and my two older brothers. Since I did not have my father around my uncle Jose stepped in and filled that fatherly role. I am extremely close with him, my tia Vero and her daughters. I am the closest with my cousin Jeannie because we’re 6months apart and we grew up together. My favorite time of the year is holiday season because we get together, eat, and talk for hours.
