I everybody, this is my first Technoclil experience.
I teach Italian, History and Geography at Istituto Comprensivo di Corinaldo. I am eager to know and try new technological tools for making my CLIL lessons more engaging and effective for my students.

I coordinate an eTwinning CLIL project called "Welcome to my place - let's know each other by using English". I have the TKT CLIL certification since last year, but I feel that this course will allow me to have a more active and practical involvement.

Hi to everybody!
I'm an upper secondary teacher. My school is a Technical school in Thiene (Vicenza, Italy).
I have a bachelor's degree in chemistry and a Ph.D. in Biocatalysis and industrial Fermentations. I have done research from 1991 till august 2012. I was doing biotechnology and my topic was biodegradable plastics.
In 1999-2000 I got the certification to teach chemistry in high school. In the year 2011 I was enrolled as a teacher.
Not having the opportunity to stay doing research I decided to start with this new adventure.
I followed the CLIL course at the University of Venice. This is my first time in Techno CLIL.
I hope to share a nice experience and learn a lot!

Hi! I am Antonella Girolamo. I live in Locorotondo, an amazing little town in Valle d’Itria, near Alberobello in Puglia. I love all of my town, because it’s beautiful, clean and small. I am a wife, a mother, a teacher and, first of all, a woman with a lot of interests, such as reading books, writing poems and articles for a local newspaper, doing gym especially fit-boxe. I love travelling with all my family, or only with my husband by motorbike or simply with my oldest son in some capital cities or with my youngest son for an English course. I like travelling even with my sisters and friends. However, every occasion is a good reason to prepare a luggage, even if I hate doing it, because I never know what it’s better to bring with me.

I teach in a Primary School in Locorotondo. This year I’m living a new experience: my pupils are 6 years old!!! They attend the first year of school and they spend a lot of time in classroom (8 hours). For 4 years I taught only English in many classrooms and I loved it. Instead, from this year, I teach many subjects, such as Maths and Science, English, Technology and P. E. only in my classroom.

I enjoy staying with my pupils and I often use different tools for my teaching: videos, interactive software, songs, coding, flipbook and e-book.

Only some months ago, I knew Learningapps. It’so lovely!!!!

During the summer I organize English Camp for lots of children, so I can also meet anglophone people.

I hope I’ll learn many interesting things thanks to you!!!

Hello, I’m Chiara and I come from Tuglie, a little village near Gallipoli (LE). I teach Art History in upper secondary schools. I think art is a universal language because it brings together people from all over the world. Furthermore, we can’t forget that art is the second native language in Italy, an open-air museum.

Hi! My name is Domenico. I am a teacher of Italian in a secondary school. My field of expertise cannot be limited to my own subject. Moved by my curiosity (I am passionate about poetry and Creative writing) I learnt English, thinking of it as a lingua franca which could be a suitable way to widen my literary horizons. I developed a good knowledge of the whole English poetry and tried, doing so, to make headways in the knowledge of broader periods of European art (I imagine poetry as an art involving language. Hence it can be more powerful than the other ones). As far as my job is concerned, I think that writing is a very effective way to express feelings. It is essential to work on thoughts and changes of mood (which are typical of kids). English is thought of as a powerful tool to be in keeping with a globalized world which speaks essentially English, eventually. I would like to live in a society without barriers, whose core values are told in a common language. Despite Brexit, I believe that English is what I am looking for. You should consider English and British English as two different things. I would like to see my students discussing Italian literature in English! I need to develop my ability to teach in English to fulfill my desire. I picked up a bit of French and German.

Hello everybody!
I’m Salvatore Girgenti. I’m a primary school teacher and I started teaching in 1994. I’m Italian and I live in Prizzi, a nice village near Palermo. I’m work in a school called "G. Vasi", in Corleone and I teach Catholic Religion in eleven classes. I have got lots interests and hobbies and during my free time, and whenever I can, I like painting, singing in a choir, riding a bike, going to the gym and travelling. I also love technology and during my lessons I always use technological tools (LIM, computer, tablet etc.), because through them students learn contents more quickly and in a fun way. I’ve already followed “Techno-CLIL Evo 2017” course and it was a great experience. I’ve improved my English skills and I’ve learnt to use CLIL methodology, so I’ve decided to follow also “Techno-CLIL 2018” course. I hope I’ll learn new strategies and to know interesting webtools to use in my classes.

I have a degree in Modern Language (specialisation in English and Serbocroatian and philologic address), another degree in Italian Literature and Popular Tratitions. My first book "As you like her" was awarded of the 1st prize for Philology. I am a specialised secondary school teacher, too. And I enter my classes as the rocker I am! :D I play the bass guitar in different bands, above all LABYRINTHUS NOCTIS, and I am part of Rockin'1000, the biggest rock band on earth!
