Gas is a substance (as oxygen or hydrogen) having no fixed shape and tending to expand without limit. Another type of gas is natural gas, a gas or a mixture of gases used to make a person unconscious. Gas is also a substance that poisons the air to make breathing difficult, Gasoline in the gaseous state.

Some Examples Of Gas:

Hydrogen

Neon

Helium

Ozone

Carbon Monoxide

Nitrogen

Water Vapor

Argon

Carbon Dioxide

Oxygen

VOLUME
The volume of a system is a key part for reporting its thermodynamic state. As the volume increases, the pressure decreases, and vise versa. For example, if you have a balloon, and you press on it hard, the balloons pressure rises.

Gases molecular movement

The particles in Gases don’t have a specific movement pattern the particles are in a state of consistent random motion. Gas particles constantly collide with each other and the walls in their container. These collisions are elastic, meaning there is no net loss of energy from the collisons.
