The Snowman Outside

What I liked most about this project is the snowman part. I like his body and the flowers.

What I would like to go back and do different would be to do a drawing of the Simpson's. Besides animated drawings I would like to try to draw a picture of a dog outside at the park.

Next semester I would like to try painting a scene of the ocean (at the beach) with patterns. There will be a crab, some fish and the sun will be in the sky. There will also be clouds in the sky.

Colorful Flowers

What I liked most about this project was the different colors, the shaded flowers and all the circles.

What I would like to go back and do differently with this project is to change the colors. I would use different colors in the flowers and do a blue sky and white clouds.

Next semester I would like to use water pencils to draw and color with. I would Like to draw a picture of Snoopy. Besides Snoopy, I would like to draw a picture of a Rapper called Mattyb! I want to draw a picture of his name. I also want to draw picture of Squidward and his house. I would like to draw these things because they are my favorite characters.

Orangutan Swimming in the Ocean

For my second project I used a pencil to sketch this orangutan. I used a paint board. I stapled my drawing on to the board. I used acrylic paint with a little water and paint brushes to paint them in. I like the orangutan most about this painting. I like the goggles I made. I really like the brown and the black in the goggles and the blue eyes on the face. I like the helmet. I like the green and brown palm tree. I really like the yellow paint on the clouds. I like that there is grass in the painting. I like the different shapes the grass is how it goes up and down. It was really easy to make the designs. The orangutan lives in the zoo. This is the first time I used acrylic paints. I like using the acrylic paints. I learned to use the different colors one by one. I learned to put the paint colors on a plate. I learned to put each color of paint in separate areas of the plate. I learned to use two different paint brushes of different sizes. I learned to mix colors to get the colors that I wanted. Black and white make the grey in the goggles.

For this project I used a pencil to sketch my artwork. I cut little pictures out of a magazine. I glued the pictures onto the paper. Then I used colored pencils to color in the pictures.
What I like the most about my project is the colored jail. The clouds are my favorite part of the project. I really like the cherry. It's called the cherry bomb! I really like how my picture is so colorful and it fills up the entire paper. I like the sky. I like how there is a morning on one side and the other side looks like afternoon. I learned about shading and blending and filling the colors in. I learned how to draw a house, a kite, clouds a remote room and a jail. I learned how to draw the clouds in the background in the sky. I learned to color with colored pencils. I learned to color from lightest to darkest. I learned how to select pictures from a magazine and incorporate them into my art project. I learned to blend with a q tip.
