If we direct our attention specifically to vehicles it is very prevalent. Looking specifically at Ford, we notice a shift in technology. When ford first started assembly lines were formed to create a car. Now, the primary job is done by a machine and humans control it.

This time allowed people to appreciate the art of music and dance- more specifically, jazz. During this time jazz was trending and world war one was going on. This was a positive and social aspect of African-American culture.  Without this time period in history, many people would not have much appreciation for the culture of jazz music.

Not only was it a time where African-American Culture was appreciated. With out this time period the highlight of African-American culture and are would not be so prevalent today.

Children were forced to work before they were teenagers and income was so low. Most people were depressed during this time because they would have to work unbearable hours in order to have sustainable (paycheck to paycheck) living. 

This has impacted our modern-day because now there are child labor laws put in place to protect the youth and liberty of adolescence.
