the zoetrope was a cylinder with gaps spaced apart in the main body of the 3D shape. in the mingle of the cylinder would be a sires of different pictures what would soon form the illusion of the picture moving if you spun the cylinder at speed.

Edward was a photographer in the 19th century that changed the ways that artist would draw or paint animals in action. he was asked to do some photographic studies for hours own, he was asked if all 4 of the horses legs touch the ground while the animal is running. he did so by setting up 12 cameras and took photos of the horse running then put them together to make the animation.

a 19th century stop motion animator but changed the game as he didn't use the normal method of using puppets or clay characters he would use stuffed animals and dead insects in his animations. he's most famous one is ' cameraman's revenge'.

our animation went really well in my opinion as it ran smoothly and also lasted a good lengths but we could have changed more in the back group that was moving like the clouds or add grass swaying.

this is one of nickelodeons indents you can tell its theres from the orange paint coving everything, so this tone of orange will be associated with nickelodeon.

in my opinion our ident could have been better as we could have used a bit of claymation instead of sticking to 2-D stencil animation, as well as that we could have done more to make sure the ident ran smother and the sound was better. On the other hand the ideas we had worked well and the ident looked how i and my team hoped it would and we worked well together with out any disagreements on the idea or how we was going to do it, we all sat down and got on with the work we had to do so we got it done fast. one idea we didn't follow was the idea of the drawing folding up and unfolding into a different animal, but even though we dint do that it still worked. i also think that the transition from scene to scene could have been better but not by much as each way the animal left the scene another will come from the same direction. but the only other way we could have worked with these transition would have been by doing out original idea or maybe linking the animals habitat more but the ident wasn't meant for the link between animal it was only meant to show that the television channel covers all side off the animal kingdom. the song we choose for the ident was circle of life as people normally link the song to lion king i though it would bring a bit more dept tho the production and give it another link to nature. and as well it links well with all the animal noises we used as there are bird noises in the backing of the song.
