Who invented the game of volleyball?

The volleyball was invented by William G. Morgan, an instructor at the YMCA in 1895. He decided to blend the sports of basketball, baseball, tennis, and handball to create a less physical sport for his classes. He borrowed the net from tennis, and raised it 6 feet 6 inches above the floor. When he created this sport he called it mintonette. Somebody stated to Morgan that the players volley the ball back and forth over the net, and "Volleyball" would be a more descriptive name for the sport.

How do you play handball?

Players jump into the area before the ball lands. Its a cross between football and basketball. Its a game played by two teams of seven. The object of the game is to score a goal by throwing a little ball into a goal. Any contact below the knees is a fowl. Players can only run with the ball, if there is no bouncing then only three steps.

Why is water polo called water polo?

The origins of the name "water polo" originates from the Indian word "pulu". This word pronounced in the English term means ball. This game is played in the water so the name would logically have the word "water" in it. This game became known as "water polo". The rules were introduced

in Scotland.
