1. First Slow poke and Beans were mad at each other and then turtle made everyone cry (other than herself obvi). They ot out of control because slow poke and beans were fighting and they would not go close together or in the shack during the storm. And it got REALLY BAD!!
2. There was a HUGE storm and they took shelter in the shack but there were RATS in the shack.
3. Turtle changed the mood because first everyone was mad and turtle made everybody start crying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In turtle in paradise Turtle is praying to see her mom one last time for example in page 152 it says " What if I never see my Mama again ? She dosen't even know I'm stranded on a key with a bunch of dumb boys. I would give a million bucks just to see her blue eyes and hear her voice one last time. To hug her tight and tell her how much I love her." This shows she is praying to see her mom one more time.
