I don’t want to feel like just another patient

I want doctor to know who I am as a person. You should remember the health stuff I have mentioned.

I observe policies in terms of accessibility,  like the printing of paperwork, is it printed in large font to accommodate needs or access to an interpreter. I measure them based on how much I respect them

Quiero que el médico sepa quién soy como persona. Deberías recordar las cosas de salud que he mencionado.

Something that makes me not trust the system is when an appointments are  set  3 to 4 months out. This says to me that they do not care about providing timely healthcare and instead the priority is about increasing patient numbers to make money and make money from insurances

Algo que me hace no confiar en el sistema es cuando se establecen citas de 3 a 4 meses. Esto me dice que no les importa proporcionar atención médica oportuna y en su lugar la prioridad es aumentar el número de pacientes para ganar dinero y ganar dinero con los seguros

Quiero que mis preguntas y preocupaciones sean tratadas a fondo: el Dr no respondió a ciertas preguntas y te movió dentro y fuera.

Particularly in neighborhood clinics, I see spaces as not very welcoming: security guards, seating is industrial looking. In contrast to spaces that are light and bright, plush seating and music in the background. I find that spaces in community clinics not all that positive. Doctors don't listen. Instead of addressing the ailment with cures, I see pain management with drugs.

Miro el espacio. Particularmente en las clínicas de barrio, veo los espacios como poco acogedores: los guardias de seguridad, los asientos son de aspecto industrial. En contraste con los espacios que son ligeros y brillantes, asientos de lujo y música de fondo. Encuentro que los espacios en las clínicas comunitarias no son tan positivos. Los médicos no escuchan.
