What has kept me going is my teachers pushing me to keep going despite being all burnt out. It's nice to have reassurance in order to get through something and for someone to keep encouraging you to keep going.

Many people in Conard highschool have their own thoughts on every race and the major problematic situation is the  whites and blacks. I am new to Coanrd, this is my first year here and i've already experienced racism and discrimination throughout the semster. It's not the schools issue for these events to occur, it's the world, and the families of these students adapted the knowledge of this racist mindset. This is my first school. I've actually countered these issues and with me being biracial with the mindset of loving all types of people it hurts to see my kind and age group to act in this matter. So the question was what does an anti- racist school look like? try the schools with the most diverse states or even a school located in a community with blacks populated higher. at least from my opinion and experience of schools.

In regards to this question, a school that is socially just and anti-racist means everyone is embraced for who they are either that be how they identify, their beliefs, race / ethnicity, etc. To work towards this goal, it is important that we shouldn't judge someone and always educate ourselves, as well as, informing others, having empathy, and having courage to speak up when you're confronted with something that is unjust.
