         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>3 Types:</strong><br><br><strong><em>* Simple Assault:</em></strong> Attempt or threat to commit battery.<br><strong><em>* Battery:</em></strong><strong> </strong>The Unlawful touching of another person using fist, hand, weapon, or other items.<br><strong><em>* Aggravated Assault:</em></strong> inflicting serious injury upon another person; assault with a deadly weapon.<br><br><strong><em>Example:</em></strong> Christine calls the gas company because there is a problem with her heat and hot water. The gas company employee tells Christine that the gas can not be turned on because there are many leaks in the pipes. Christine becomes very agitated and beats the employee over the head and on the abdomen with his wrench. The gas man escaped and called 911. Christine was arrested&nbsp;for aggravated assault. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Definition:&nbsp; </em></strong>the unlawful removal, taking, or restraint of someone against their will. <br><br><strong><em>Example:</em></strong> Carlos is Jamie's father, but there is a court order stating that Carlos is not allowed to have contact with Jamie.&nbsp; Carlos is livid that he is not allowed to see his son, so he decides to disobey the order and pick his son up from school.&nbsp; Carlos does not intend to hurt his son.&nbsp; They go get ice cream after school.&nbsp; An Amber Alert is released and Carlos is soon found and arrested for kidnapping his son.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong><em>Definition:</em></strong> Willfully setting fire to a structure or building. <br><br><strong><em>Example:</em></strong> A landlord Jim, closes his building for a temporary period of time so he can do renovations.&nbsp; Jim thought it over and instead of doing renovations he is going to set the building on fire but make it look like an accident so he can get the insurance payout.&nbsp; Unfortunately for Jim, the Fire Marshall came out and investigated determining the building was set on fire.&nbsp; The police continued the investigation and found security camera footage from a nearby store showing Jim setting the building on fire.&nbsp;<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
