3. Rising action - Murph sets out to find a solution to this problem in a way that is convenient for both Murph and the Balloon. Murph asks the advice of a friend at work and an acquaintance from school, but no one has an answer for him.
4. Climax - At his wits end, Murph considers releasing the Balloon.
5. Falling action - Murph has a heart to heart with the Balloon and decides to allow the Balloon to stay tied to his wrist.
6. Resolution - Murph and the Balloon do fun things, such as the park and the movies together.
