I use JamBoard for GuideBooks discussion questions. Additionally, I love using Quizizz as an alternative to traditional quiz formats (occasionally) or as a practice/review for anchor tests we are reading in the classroom.

I got a student a couple of months into the school year that tested out of LA1. I gave the students a choice board to create for the Giver for the extension task. He taught the entire class (even me) how to create their own movie trailer on Canva.

I am working with teachers on how to take the guide book lessons and building in Pear Deck Interactive features. My goal is for teachers to have the first few weeks of their lessons ready to go when they go back to school. This is a great way for teachers to "see" what students understand throughout the lesson. If the students are off base in an activity, then they can stop go back and reteach immediately.

I use Nearpod for student to student feedback by doing the share feature. Students can turn and talk about the student work that comes up on their screens and discuss how they can improve the answer or what evidence might be more relevant or stronger than the original answer.
