The status/role of women in Bangladesh is changing positively. Nowadays, more women are going to work, rather than staying at home. Women are taking on the roles (traditionally) of men. Working in factories, as pilots, engineers, in politics, etc. This might affect the population in the future. Nowadays, child marriage is less prevalent in Bangladesh. Not only that, but as stated earlier, women are pursuing careers rather than babies. The overall infant birth rate is likely to decrease if these trends continue.

As women in Bangladesh get more education and jobs, they are having fewer children and marrying later. This is mainly due to their new financial freedom and increased education. Although women are more empowered, traditional social customs and unfair treatment still exist. These changes will lead to a smaller population with more older people in the future. Also, a better educated female workforce can help improve the country's economy.

The women also think that it's good for women to have jobs because it'll help their kids as they grow to know that they could also have a job or have more opportunities.

The status of women is changing in Bangladesh by the education they are able to receive and the positions available to them now. Women are able to hold job positions and not be only seen as baby givers. This gives women the opportunity to be seen as more then just mothers or house wives; political positions have been given to women, showing they are capable of doing anything a man can do. This empowerment of women in Bangladesh helps younger children see they can be capable of more than they are branded by society. The changing status may impact the population due to women taking more roles in society, which might not make children a priority. The reproduction rate will most likely dropped do to the new economic positions for women

The role of women in Bangladesh is evolving thanks to higher education, workforce participation, and involvement in decision-making. This change has led to women having less children and could result in economic growth through a larger working-age population. But, problems remain, like balancing work and childcare and creating inclusive policies for ongoing progress.
