Sole trader - As a sole trader, your business is owned entirely by you, grown by you and ultimately succeeds or fails by you. This also means you are entitled to all profit that the business makes. Becoming a sole trader is very simple and easy to do. A sole trader has unlimited liability meaning that they are personally responsible for any debt that the business accumulates. It is easy to make decisions within the company as you do not have to consult with anyone.
Partnerships - A partnership is a company owned by two people. This can be a good thing as it means that skills and resources can be shared. More money can be raised in the form of capital as there is two owners instead of one. Partnerships are usually formed by signing a deed. Partnerships usually have unlimited liability. Decisions are still able to be made quickly.
Public Limited Company -
