Teacher ask students to choose between two ideas that have a similar theme. Would you rather have ice cream or cookies for a treat. Teacher using arms and hands to point to the side with the choice given.Students move to the side that they choose. Then student come back to center. After 3-4 choices from teacher. I ask students to make up some choices and do a few of those.
