What makes me happy?

I play video games in my free time because they make me happy and help me relax after long and stressful days. As a Grade 11 student, I deal with alot of pressure from schoolwork, deadlines, and other responsibilities. Playing video games gives me a way to take a break and focus on something enjoyable. My favorite game is Persona 3 Reload, which not only entertains me but also makes me think deeply about my life, my relationships, and personal growth. For me, gaming is not just a pastime, it is an important part of how I maintain balance and happiness in my life.

One of the main reasons I enjoy video games is because they help me manage my stress. After spending hours studying or working on assignments, I often feel tired or very fatigued. When I start playing a game, my mind is filled with dopamine. The music, visuals, and storytelling in Persona 3 Reload create an atmosphere that draws me in and allows me to escape reality for a while.

Video games also give me a strong sense of achievement. Many games include difficult challenges that require focus and persistence. When I finally complete a tough level or defeat a powerful boss, I feel proud of myself for not giving up. Persona 3 Reload, for example, often requires planning and strategy, especially in battles. I need to think carefully about which skills to use, how to manage time, and how to build relationships with other characters. These experiences improve my problem-solving skills and patience, qualities that are also useful in real life.

Another reason I play games is the sense of connection it provides. Even though Persona 3 Reload is a single-player game, it has a strong message about friendship, death, and understanding others. Those themes remind me of the importance of relationships in my own life. Outside of that, I enjoy playing multiplayer games with friends online. It is a great way for us to talk, laugh, and work together, even when we are far apart. Gaming helps me maintain relationships and enjoy playing with my friends.

Overall, playing video games has a positive influence on my life. They help me relax, express creativity, and develop important skills like focus and perseverance. For me, video games provide that balance. They bring me happiness, and remind me that even in virtual worlds, effort and friendship can lead to meaningful success.

Headline: Grade 11 journeys to the gorgeous Phong Nha in 2025.

On this camping trip, we went to Phong Nha. We set off on the 24th of November by using the train. On this trip, our main goal was to build a new sanctuary for the turtles in Phong Nha National Park. It was a fantastic experience that taught us all a variety of construction skills, including how to use shovels, trowels, and machetes and how to make cement. It was overall a huge success that we managed to complete the turtle sanctuary within only 3 days.

On the 24th at 7:20 PM, that is when we started setting off from the Hanoi Railway Station. There were four beds in the room, which was extremely small and didn't have enough room for all of our belongings. Nevertheless, we were able to properly share our space and set up our room so that we could all sleep comfortably on our beds. The first night on the train was better than we all thought.

From the 25th to the 27th, we were all focused on creating a new home for the turtles at the Phong Nha Rescue Center; we worked with The Learning Project and the Community Development Centre to quickly construct the turtle sanctuary for endangered turtles. Additionally, we were also introduced to the many endangered species there as well; my favorite was the Asian hornbill, as it has a very beautiful beak. Throughout those days, we worked tirelessly to build the sanctuary as fast as we could with the people there. We had to move bricks, mix cement, move logs, and clean the cage for the eagle that is coming soon. It taught us many important skills that require a lot of strength and construction; they were difficult to learn at first, but as time passed, we were able to work efficiently with all of the new skills we had learned. In the end, we were able to finish the turtle sanctuary with the time that we had.

On the afternoon of the 27th, we began organizing and relocating our belongings for the overnight train. Unfortunately, our train was delayed by 7 hours, so we had to change our plans. We were able to choose a restaurant and spend the night there before catching the train, and at 1:30 AM, we were finally able to board the train and begin our journey back to Hanoi.

Overall, this trip was fantastic; it was not only a lot of fun, but it also taught us many skills that we can use in the future in the field of construction. It also allowed me and my mates to better connect with one another and collaborate.

What is the coolest generation for me?

I think Gen Z is the coolest generation mostly because I am very influenced by my cousins. They always had the coolest things. When I visited their house, they always had the newest video games, and I would come over and play them.

They would always share everything with me, especially their video games, and that generosity made those visits feel even more special. Even though the games were brand-new and clearly things they were excited about themselves, they never hesitated to hand me a controller or let me take a turn. Sometimes they would even save certain levels or moments just so I could experience them when I came over. That kind of openness made me feel included in their world, like I wasn’t just a guest but part of whatever they were enjoying.

Looking back, those simple acts of sharing meant a lot. It wasn’t just that they had the coolest things; it was that they wanted me to enjoy them too. Sitting side by side, passing the controller back and forth, laughing at the same moments those memories are a big reason I ended up viewing their generation as so cool. Their willingness to share made everything feel more meaningful, and it shaped the way I remember those times even now.

My winter break in 3-2-1

During winter break, I did three things: play games, study for the upcoming semester, and practice my piano. This winter break was more relaxing, to be honest; most of the time, I just sat in my living room playing games and then walked back to my room to study. My favorite part was that I could sit around and play games all day; I mostly played GTA Online, and I felt happier just knowing that I could do whatever I wanted with my time. Despite having a lot of free time, I decided to spend some of it on homework. This was my least favorite part of the break because I had to stop playing to complete some tedious schoolwork. Despite the fact that it was monotonous and boring, I felt as if I had gained a sense of responsibility for my schoolwork and time management by choosing to spend some time doing homework and practicing piano.

I wish I had finished all of my homework and talked to my friends more. Although I had completed some of the homework, I did not finish it all because I became a little lazy by the last week of winter break and decided to spend less time doing homework and more time playing games. Despite setting goals for myself to spend time finishing all of my homework and studying more, I only completed 3/4 of them. This was the first winter break where I had to prioritize my time and decide whether to play games or do homework. I despised most of it, but I chose to go through with it because I am now in grade 11, and I can't be messing around like in previous years. Furthermore, I wished I could spend more time with my friends; we only met once during the winter break, so I was bored for the majority of it. My favorite part of the winter break was hanging out with my friends.

I hope to maintain my current momentum during future winter breaks. I discovered that I had a good balance of entertainment and mundane schoolwork during my break; I felt like I was doing something other than sitting around playing games all day; it felt like I was doing something productive that would benefit my future.

Nothing lasts forever. Moments change, people grow, and what you think is permanent slowly fades. Understanding that makes the present more meaningful and letting go easier.

A normal school day for me would be very mundane and boring. I am a very passive person; in classes I would only answer and engage with the class if I was required to do so. This resulted in me frequently getting bored in classes, but I always had my friends making funny jokes during the lesson, but I still felt very bored in all of my classes. I feel bored in my classes because I just simply find the lessons very boring. Most of my classes are just taking notes off of a board and doing a bunch of worksheets. Doing these activities for the whole day is very repetitive and makes me sick of doing them more.

Then, the summer holiday started. Now most of my days just consist of me staying home and playing games all day. It was fun for the first couple of weeks, but after that I became even more bored at home, even more than at school.

One late night in July, one of my friends invited me to hang out at the waterpark. I had nothing to do at the time, so I accepted the invite and started preparing my goggles and swimming pants.

On the day, we met up at the waterpark and immediately went to the slides. It was dark and twisty; I was screaming so much that I sounded like a chicken with its legs cut off. We then went to other slides with a board and sometimes jumped from high places and landed in the water. We all had a lot of fun, more fun than all of our karaoke sessions and way more exciting than a normal school day.

We make our way to the highest slide in the waterpark; it was easily the scariest one out of all the slides. My friends went down one by one; each of them let out a scream. They all sounded like a bunch of hyenas. I was the last one to go; it was scary. I thought that it was light but when I stepped into the tube, I felt a sense of unease from it but I closed my eyes and pushed myself through the slide. It was over in an instant, and all my friends were waiting for me when I opened my eyes. At this moment I realized that moments like these don't last forever and it is best to spend your life learning how to live happily.

Recently, there have been rumors circling around HIS moving to a new campus. Every teacher and student knows about the rumor, and if the change from a new campus were made, it could potentially provide us with more benefits than our school right now. I believe that our school moving to a new campus brings more advantages and helps it to continue evolving.

Firstly, a new school could help navigation for disabled kids. Disabled kids originally had to restrict themselves to only using crutches because there was no space to use a proper wheelchair. This made it extremely difficult for them to move around school, and this could cause accidents with students tripping and harming themselves even more. Thus, moving to a new campus could solve this problem by having wider spaces for disabled kids to use their wheelchairs instead of using flimsy crutches to move around.

Secondly, this transition would bring in more facilities the school could use. For example, our school currently only has two science rooms and only one court we could use for sports. It is clear that we are only having the bare minimum when it comes to facilities; sometimes we have to share the football field with the neighboring school. As a result, this limits the school on what it could do for activities.

Thirdly, a larger school would allow for the enrollment of an additional 300–700 students, which would increase the school's diversity by attracting more nationalities. For example, with a new campus, our school could have 500–700 students, compared to the current 258–300.

In summary, transitioning to a new school would improve the entire school, easier mobility, new facilities, and new nationalities. Overall, this transition would be amazing for our school.

Spider-Man 2 (2004) Review - The superhero gets into a moral crisis.

In this sequel to the original Sam Raimi's Spider-Man, we still follow Spider-Man as the main character, played by Tobey Maguire, and the same supporting cast as before that consists of Harry Osborn (James Franco) and Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst). In this superhero thriller, instead of focusing on the origin of Spider-Man, we get to see how life and responsibilities affect his superhero career.

A constant choice that Peter Parker has to face is to choose the. mask of Spider-Man or be Peter Parker; this moral dilemma consists of throughout the whole movie, a lingering thought that asks Peter Parker to prioritize being Spider-Man at the cost of his real-life relationships or being Peter Parker, going to school, and having a job to support his aunt. This theme persists throughout the whole movie and is executed wonderfully; this though-provoking theme humanizes Spider-Man. as he faces responsibilities that we also face as ordinary people.

Spoiler warning

A scene that truly emphasizes this theme is the part where a house is burning and Peter Parker happens to see it; at this point, he has lost his motivation to be Spider-Man, but he couldn't stand by seeing people get hurt because he couldn't step in. So he went into the burning building to rescue the remaining people in the apartment building. In this moment, he realizes that this city needs a hero like Spider-Man; he chose to protect other people while putting his needs before it, emphasizing that he is a very selfless person.

Spider-Man 2 is Spider-Man 1 but better in every way, with a touching message of responsibility that exists through the whole movie and a sense of relatability between the watchers and Spider-Man; we get to see his losses clearly in this movie. If you are a fan of Spider-Man, this movie is a must watch.

In a table tennis bar in New York city, it was shot there to make Daniel Radcliffe play table tennis with the interviewer.

The Introduction: What were the initial questions and why are those questions asked at the beginning? What book was he reading, what was a book that positively shaped him, if he were in an autobiography, what would the title be? I believe that he asked these questions to know Daniel Radcliffe's personality better.

The Goal: Was the introduction enough to make you stay watching until the end? Yes, even though I watched his Harry Potter movies when I was a kid, it was interesting to see him grown up.

The Questions: Are the questions random? Are they long? Are they helping in knowing the person more? Are they confusing? What can you say about the quality of questions? They weren't long; this interview only took 6 minutes to record the whole entire 73 questions, the questions were meant to know him better such as what hero does he resonate with the most and what does he do in his past time.

The Behavior: How does the person being interviewed respond to the interviewer? He responded to the interviewer enthusiastically while he was also playing a game of ping pong. Occasionally, the interviewer gets someone random to answer the questions as well.

The Control: Is the conversation focused more on the interviewer or the person being interviewed? Why? It was weighted towards Daniel Radcliffe; the interviewer was only answering the questions.

Words: Does the person use simple words or "expert" (technical) words? They used simple words for the audience to understand as well.

Feelings: Does the person seem happy, nervous, or angry in the interview? Both the interviewer and the interviewee are happy; they bounced off each other's energy really well.

Actions: Does the writer describe what the person does? (Example: "She looked at her watch"). What does this tell us? No.

Audience: Who can/would enjoy this interview? Why? Fans of the original Harry Potter film would enjoy this interview because when I watched I only recognized him as the "Harry Potter boy" and I enjoyed looking at him grown up since the last time that I saw him.

Change: If there’s any suggestion you have to make the interview more fun, what would it be? No
