         <description><![CDATA[<div>Scientific name:<br>Lythrum Salicaria<br>Description:<br>One horizontal underground stem, can produce 30-50 erect stems. Stems are woody and square. Plant is up to 2.4 meters high and 1.5 meters wide. Flowers have 5-7 pink/purple petals arranged in long flower spikes at the top of stems. Leaves are opposite or whorled.<br>Original Distribution:<br>Plant originates in Europe and Asia<br><br></div>]]></description>
