Hello everyone!

We are the fantastic students of class 4D from Italy! 🇮🇹 Our class is made up of 22 children, and we are full of energy, creativity, and curiosity. We love learning new things, especially when it’s fun and exciting!

In our class, we enjoy working as a team, helping each other, and sharing ideas. Some of our favorite activities include coding, storytelling, art, and exploring the world through projects. We also love music and sports, and we always try to do our best in everything we do.

We are very happy to be part of this project, and we can’t wait to share our ideas and learn from all of you! Let’s have fun together and create great memories!

Our amazing 4D students have been busy exploring the concept of citizenship! 🧩

First, we had a big class discussion where everyone shared their thoughts and ideas about what being a good citizen means. Then, each student wrote down their reflections and created beautiful drawings to express their understanding. 🎨✍️

To wrap up, we worked together to find some key words that represent citizenship for us, and we added them to an AnswerGarden! 🌱

This activity helped us understand the importance of being kind, responsible, and active members of our community. 👫💡

As part of our A.C.T! Active Citizenship Together project, my 4D students took on a creative challenge! 🎨✏️ They wrote an acrostic poem in English, starting with the letter I, which was assigned to us. Each line reflects values of citizenship, respect, and unity.

To make it even more engaging, we used ChatterKid to bring our words to life! 🎙️📱 The students recorded their voices, adding a fun and interactive touch to their work.

Collaboration, creativity, and digital tools helped us connect and express our ideas across borders. We are excited to share our contribution with our partners! 🤝💡

Teachers and experts guided students through real-life scenarios, helping them develop critical thinking skills when navigating the digital world. Special focus was placed on the importance of respectful online communication and recognizing potential risks.

The event was a great success, fostering a culture of digital responsibility and equipping students with essential tools for safe and informed internet use. ICS La Giustiniana remains committed to promoting digital literacy and online safety for all.

1. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – Minimize waste by reusing materials, recycling properly, and reducing single-use plastics.

2. Conserve Water – Fix leaks, take shorter showers, and use water-efficient appliances.

3. Save Energy – Turn off lights when not in use, use energy-efficient appliances, and opt for renewable energy sources if possible.

4. Use Sustainable Transportation – Walk, bike, carpool, or use public transport to reduce carbon emissions.

5. Plant Trees – Trees absorb carbon dioxide and provide oxygen, helping combat climate change.

6. Support Sustainable Products – Choose eco-friendly and ethically sourced products.

7. Eat Responsibly – Reduce food waste, eat more plant-based meals, and support local and sustainable farming.

8. Protect Wildlife – Avoid buying products made from endangered species, and support conservation efforts.

9. Reduce Chemical Use – Use natural cleaning products and avoid pesticides that harm ecosystems.

10. Raise Awareness – Educate others about environmental issues and support policies that protect the planet.

The first one, "Create a school garden and plant flowers," encourages us to work together to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers at school, all while learning how to care for nature. It's a fantastic way to connect with the environment and make our school a greener place.

The second action, "Be a responsible digital citizen," teaches us to use the internet safely and respectfully. We emphasized the importance of not sharing personal information online, ensuring that we stay safe and mindful in the digital world.

My students have participated with great enthusiasm, bringing so much energy and creativity to both tasks. I'm incredibly proud of their involvement and dedication to making a positive impact! 🌱💻

We are writing to you from our school to tell you about something special we are doing! As an active citizenship action, we have decided to take care of our school garden. 💚🌱

We have removed the weeds, planted new flowers, and now we are creating a vegetable garden! 🥕🍓🍅 It will be a wonderful place where we can grow vegetables and fruits, learn about nature, and help the environment.

It’s hard work, but we are having so much fun! We are working together like a real team, and we are very proud to make our school greener and more beautiful. 🌿🌼
