the more her innocent eyes stare at the figure in front of her, she was certain that she didn't know her anymore. this person is not and never her mother to begin with.

eunbi remembers, in the middle of her muffled hiccups, how her mother's scowl was a radiating smile instead that brightens up her day whenever she comes home from school, or whenever she needs encouragement to write further with her mathematics and language tests. the scornful stare sends daggers to her heart that soon rips her soul the longer she stared down, making the child little and aware at the power heavy on her shoulders. the chapped and purple shade of lips used to pepper kisses on her forehead that lulls her further to her sleep, the soft whispers of love and advice she used to hear everyday now replaced with profanities that spills endless from her mouth. her mother's trembling hands used to cradle her child to attempt with tickling the girl in her arms now full of remorse with everything she touched. the brightness that radiates around her mother's face now replaced with spite, its darkness consuming her and the peace that ceased to exist in every nook and cranny of the jung household.

at the she of seven, she wonders what went wrong with the family, and how — when — it started. she also wanted answers of her own: why is her father with a different woman in his arms when he should be working somewhere else — was it in dubai, she forgot and didn't matter now — as she and her mother were out, how the comfortable sounds of love and comfort under their roof now forgotten and is replaced with earth shattering screams and quarrels. the juggle of luggage silenced with a loud slam of the door have been frequent during the night, and it scarred eunbi. no matter how many tears she shed, how many times she begged, how hard she clutched onto his work clothes, he still moved forward as if she's nothing but thin air. 

she knew her mother must have done the same, even more, with what she did — and she suffered in concealed silence. months of begging, chain of mails and text messages, and her smile crumbling along with her pulvorised heart. her silence had made her wallow onto the pain. it is no denying that she's terrified of the person she trusted all her life now a stranger as the day rolls by.

silently turning away from the child to slump on the corner of her room, it was the turn of the child to move away from her spot and run as quickly as she can to the house a little distant from hers. even if small, eunbi still tries to make her voice louder — asking for a single soul to help. her mother is best when it comes to hiding things, but she missed how her daughter is observant. eunbi knows she have empty sachets under her mattress, a gun in her closet and an unused knife sitting idly on the corner she have slumped on. if she will not hurry, she knew she will lose her mother. no, she had enough when dealing with losing his father, losing her will be the last nail on her coffin — and she intend not to make it happen. she wanted to be the reason why her mother will find her smile again, have no fear when it comes to holding her close again, and finally let go of the miseries of the past with her hands holding her bigger ones. she wanted to be the reason why she'll have her mother again.

authorities came a few minutes after her kind neighbour called for her behalf. the door was busted open and quick feet rush to her mother's room — the sharp metal resting on her chest now cluttering on the floor.

there are some pieces of information and notes to keep in mind:
one. i am already over 20 years old. i'm most comfortable being addressed using she/they pronouns, though any pronouns is fine!
two. please keep walls clean at all times and redirect connection, plot calls, inquiries, etc. in pm; though ooc room works just as fine! ongoing / existing threads will be in rooms.
three. i'm most comfortable when it comes to writing in both 2nd and 3rd pov, para / novella, descriptive / detailed. i can try writing in 1st but it will be spotty and takes a longer time. length varies from one reply to the other though i have the tendency to get carried away when it comes to replies; you have the freedom not to mirror the length and pov used!
four. english is neither my first nor second language, and there will be typographical and/or grammatical errors present in replies. i encourage everyone to correct me kindly when it comes to my mistakes!
five. reply speed is in span of five(5) days to two(2) weeks. i don't reply quickly since my free schedule tends to change quickly, and my attention span changes in a matter of speed of light. take no offense if i'm active in rooms but not sending you a reply just yet; i promise i'm working on it behind the scenes.

It has seemed that  her bobbed hair is still her to-go length for haircuts, her adoration to long hairs short-lived, and has a fascination with colouring her hair often.

three. eunbi spent two years in the orphanage before getting adopted by annie (adoptive mother) in half of her second year. she didn't know she was going to be adopted by annie; she just think that the lady is nice and friendly enough to talk to her almost everyday.

four. grade school eunbi keeps in touch with her mother (and her father sometimes) through letters and brief phone calls. vacation was spent either being in japan or going around seoul to find a spot for her mother's to-launch shop.

two. eunbi was raised in watching animated movies and loves spending her free time binge watching her favourite movies. she have found herself hooked to disney's tangled and unconsciously singing along "i can see the lights" as confessing her love to eugene. top three of her most hated sisney villains are tangled's mother gothel, lion king's scar and zootopia's assistant mayor bellwether.

three. with the heavy influence of animated movies, little eunbi — with the help of her mothers — have grown to love sewing and drawing. her free time consisted on trying to sew her favourite animal companion, barbie farytopia's bibble the puffball, with the use of old threads and torn out clothes.
