The house was very old, and very big, but only one man lived there, so it was very empty and nothing to do. One day that they were going to go out on a little trip to have some fun, and escape all of the different problems they were having durning the war, it rained that day so they had to stay inside. This forced them to stay inside. They were exploring the house and they came across a closet, Everyone left the room exept for Lucy. I wonder why she wanted to stay back and what she thought was so important. She had went into the wardrobe, soon to relize she was in a whole new world, there was a faun there, named Mr. Tumnus, who welcomed Lucy with open arms and told her all about the White witch, and how he was helping her, and how she made it always winter. I wonder why the Witch wants to do this. Edmund eventruly finds out, and goes to the witch and spills all his info out. In all of these cases the closet disappears and becomes into Narnia.  This place is a magical winter wonderland, but to the animals that live there its not, Then all of the kids find out weeks later. The kids find out Mr. Tumnus was taken away, and then they go out on the hunt to save him. This makes me notice how brave Lucy is to just go into Narnia and go on a mission to find a animal, or friend, she barly knows. There, they find a robin that leads them for a little, and when the robin is gone, they find a bever, that takes them to their home to keep them safe for now, he says everyones watching, to keep quite the trees can be telling the things we say the the queen. This makes me think that everything is alive, that this place is magical, and one slip up, can send them to the queen, ending in prison, or worse. When a rich man on a horse shows up, he offers Arsheesh to sell him the boy for 70 crescents. As the rich man and Arsheesh go to sleep that night, Shasta walks up to the horse and the horse starts talking. There, the boy and his horse rid away trying to get away from there people. The horse (named Bree) tells Shasta that he is from the magical world of Narmia and tells him that he is going to return there to his people (or horses?). They start cleaning out the house. Emily went into the basement of the house and found a purple amulet. She took a peek at it, and put it on. She showed it to her brother, Navin. The amulet told her some of the future and what was going to happen to their family if they stayed inside this house. The amulet has powers to warn her about the future, or shock people with purple lightning. Emily uses this amulet to her advantage. But there is lots of dangers coming for her. A species called "Elves" are hunting for the amulet and her. They want the amulet's power for immortal power. Sometimes the amulet tells Emily negative things about the future as well. So Emily has to use the amulet's power to fight off the evil. The man gives James a paper bag with green things that look like stones or crystals. He tells James to put the green things in a cup of water and drink it. The drink would make James' life better. The man also tells him to not drop the bags because what ever the stones touch something magical happens to it. James runs back to his aunt's home but trips and falls. The green stones fall out and sinks into the ground. Later on, James' aunt's peach tree's peach starts growing bigger and bigger. (I think that one of the green stones hit the peach and that's how the peach is growing bigger.) At night, James found a secret hole in the plum that leads to a door. Behind the wooden door, James meets overgrown bugs. The bugs have been waiting for James to find them. (I wonder how they knew that there was James and that he was coming.  I also wonder if the bugs are overgrown because they got hit by the green stone and the magic happened.)
