         <description><![CDATA[<div>Six word story: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."&nbsp; There is a legend that Ernest Hemingway was challenged to write a novel in six words. &nbsp;This is what he wrote.  These words can be interpreted in many ways.  I took them to mean that a woman was planning on having a baby but had a miscarriage.  The image below is a representation of the baby shoes that the woman and her baby never got to use.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>“Teen angst tends to cause problems.”<br><br>This is a six word story to describe Romeo and Juliet.  In the story the two are star-crossed lovers.  Their dramatic nature as young romantics causes them to both die in the end.  Therefore, their teen angst caused some problems! The illustration below shows Juliet waking up and realizing Romeo has killed himself.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>"Not a son or wife--Student."<br><br>These six words represent Mattie, who is struggling to support her family after her mom dies.&nbsp; She is not a son that can work on the farm and she thinks her father resents that.&nbsp; She enjoys reading and writing and wants to go to college but is not sure if she should stay home and become a wife.&nbsp; In the end, Mattie decides to do what is best for her and go to college. &nbsp;<br><br>The illustration shows Mattie sitting down and writing.  She is radical for her time because many do not believe women should go to college or write.  </div>]]></description>
