Recording myself, (besides making me feel like an idiot), made me realize how weak I am at reading with rush time, and how bad I am at sharp thinking. Reflection: I am recording myself to spread awareness about cyberbullying and how it can affect people. It is very important that we all know the impact and the affects of cyberbullying, and how it is NO joke when someone is going through it. During the recording of this video, I was very nervous to express my genre, but once i got into the groove of what I was talking about, it became very easy, which helped me make the video. If i had to present in person, I would feel more way more confident in my work.

Throughout filming this video I was really able to come to terms with everything I learned while researching this topic. I realized that while filming a video you can't stammer or have dead space. So I had to be able to catch myself as well as know that I am saying the right things to convey my topics. I appreciate this topic as I watched lots of reality television of girls in beauty pageants. As I was filming this video, I noticed that I noticed that now after doing this project I am very well educated on this subject enough where I can speak about it way more confidently then before. I feel I was repeating myself too much and how I could go on and on about this subject where 2 minutes wasn't enough to be able to explain what I had to say. When making this video I realized how much focus and work I put into this project. This also made me realize how bad at speaking I am and how much I stutter when I speak, but also how much information I can say in a short amount of time. Also, by recording this video and speaking about my topic out loud, it made me realize how interesting this topic is and how many ways you can get your point across, whether it's an essay, poster, or even a video speech like we did here. When recording myself it helped me identify that I start to get nervous and lose track of where I am and what i'm saying. I tend to play with my hands so I can stay on track and not lose my confidence when speaking. Recording this video and listening to myself talk helped me realize how speaking out loud for people to hear isn't as scary and its helped me see how you can spread information in different ways and not just by writing long essays. Recording myself made me realize that when under a certain amount of pressure, I stumble with my words a bit and lose where i am at reading, so I just try to come up with something on the spot to make it sound better, which works out kinda. i could have been a little louder and coulda have studied my lines a little more so I remember them, but I belive that I sound confident and clear.

While recording, I noticed that I spent time adding emphasis to my words by changing the speed at which I was speaking. I also noticed that I did not do a very good job making eye contact with the camera; my eyes tended to wander. Speaking clearly helped deliver confidence in my speech and my research.

While recording, I noticed that when I mess up slightly, it makes me want to reset the whole thing, although its not too big of a problem with small mistakes like the ones I made. Because of that, it made me have to redo my recording several times which somewhat annoyed me because of it. Between all the recordings, I got better at reading out the script I had written down, emphasizing what I needed to say much better than I had said at the beginning of trying to record.

While recording I realized that often times I stutter and mix up words. I also realized that I can try to focus on slowing down my delivery of my words to convey and allow for the reader to clearly understand what I am trying to say. Like when I was reviewing the other videos I was able to clearly understand them when they had paused which allowed for a much more meaningful delivery of their words.

Reflection: When filming this video I realized that this research project really helped me strengthen my writing ability. It taught me how to explain my viewpoint through different types of writings and how to use those different types of writings to strengthen my claim. It also taught me the true effect that driverless vehicles have put onto road safety by showing multiple occurrences of them already crashing and malfunctioning. Filming the reflection showed me how it is difficult to sum up so much information in a short clip. This will help me for future videos I will have to take for classes and speaking for presentations.

While recording this video, it made me realize that i speak a little bit too fast when I'm nervous and had to take multiple takes for reading each segment as I was in a hurry.. This made me stutter a couple of times (very noticeable) but at least i got it done.. I felt like while reading my note or letter to my reader I switched out some of the words that weren't originally written to make it sound more etiquette. I don't have a problem with speaking quietly so I'm very easy to understand. I wish that I added more to my letter but I'm very proud that I finished it. Thank you!

Recording myself allowed me to notice flaws in my speech. Firstly, I was very awkward. Next, I spoke too fast at certain parts in the video. Lastly, I don't open my mouth enough when I'm talking (anxiety), so some of the words don't sound clear, like for example--"world" sounded like "word". I realized during my presentation I tend to talk fast once I'm being recorded or when Im anxious. I miss words a lot and tend to repeat the entire sentence in order to fully get back on where I left off or messed up at originally. My overall findings from this project allowed me to research and identify the cases of cyberbullying and the high rates of cyberbullying that comes across the interent each year, which made me realize how much cyebrbullying really occurs on our daily devices.

While filming this video I have discovered that I can present and record myself better than I thought I did and have before, even though there are still a lot of flaws. I have noticed that I tend to look away to remember and/or focus on what I am saying or thinking of saying, I happen to forget what I am saying mid sentence and try to save it from there, and I often get really nervous and slur my words a bit and fidget with my hands. Besides all of this, I believe I am getting better at recording myself as I usually am severely scared and forget everything I meant to say, so this is a big step up for me. Aside from the recording, I have learned so much more about a topic I genuinely care about, and how to express topics in different formats.
