Incorporating PEER-authored literature in courses and giving PEER students the opportunity to see scientists that look like them is an important step to changing the narrative about who can be a scientist. At times, I think that PEER-scientists get overwhelmed with requests to be "the face" of DEI in science so perhaps having a couple contacts for the whole class rather than each student reaching out individually and compensating the scientist contacts would be beneficial.  (Kelly Mikenas, Elmhurst University)
