Boycott is usually refusing to use or buy a service. Boycotting can be done with few people although it will be more impactful if more people stop using the service. Boycotting could be, not buying certain products, not using public service.

Marches/ Rallies

Marches and rallies are the most common types of protest there are. Although marches aren't very effective alone they can't be considered a protest. Marches can help raise awarness and make people realize the ocurring problem.

Sit-in

Sit-in is a very effective way of protesting as it's done by occupying areas where people won't be able to access. This can hurt the function of the society and usually promote political, social, or economic change.

Walkout

A protest done by leaving somethings such as an official meeting, workers walking out of the factory. Usually this starts a strike by abandoning the work place. This affects the company by upholding labour which causes change in the company.

Picket

Picketing is a method of protesting where usually people will stay outside of buildings and persuade employees problems the companies may have. It also raise awarness by just blocking the entrance. This protest is always done infornt outside or inside a building.

Riot

A violent disturbance in public such as destroying things. Riots are always done in large groups of people. This is a violent method of a protest. Riots are the most impactful way of protesting as there are many ways of doing non-violent protests.

Civil Disobedience

Civil disobedience is a type of protest where people start breaking laws or doing illegal things in order to protest something. It can be quite common to see this type of protest although it's not a good idea to do this with a really small community.

Strikes

Refusing to work or not ging to work until a change is made. Trying to disrupt the company or a government/ service. Strikes are usually done by employees.
