It started with the main character Rick waking up in the hospital to a world of walkers. Rick went on a search for his family, and somehow ended up finding his wife, son, and bestfriend along with other unknown people. Rick is a strong independent man, and he is very hardworking because he would not give up until he found them. I predict Rick's strength and leadership will help him become the leader of the group he is with, along side his bestfriend Shane, who is currently the leader. I picked this book because I love the show, and it is an easy read. Whether they are dead or alive, they are causing the biggest conflict in the story. The walkers that are dead are causing a conflict because they are constantly trying to kill the living.
