But a man named James Halliday created a virtual reality world, where you can feel things with "haptic gloves" and other equipment if you can afford it. When James Halliday dies he leaves a quest for all the OASIS (The virtual reality console) users. If they find the egg they will inherit his entire fortune, with an estimated worth of 150 billion dollars and his entire company (The OASIS). The book is Wade/Parvizal going on the quest to find it, he makes many friends and foes, he is determined but the quest was made almost impossible, will he pull himself out of poverty and live a glorious life in wealth, or stay as just one insignificant person in the world? He goes on many adventures throughout the series with his best friends, Tamara and Aaron, and each book is a different year in the school for him. 

I like this book series since I liked Harry Potter and the series are a bit similar. They are also a bit different though.
