Baby ducks following their mother. Theses ducks do not need to learn to follow their mother, it is an innate behavior. This behavior is important for survival because they need to be able to follow their mother to stay safe and for many other survival reasons.

Innate behaviors don't have to be learned. They are something that animals do instinctually. They are also genetically programmed. An example is breastfeeding. Mammals do not need to learn how to breast feed, it is something natural and instinctive. So innate behaviors are behaviors that do not need to be learned, and is something that animals do instinctually.

Animals need to adapt in order for a behavior to become innate. Animals over time will adapt for survival reasons, and then they will pass on those genes which will make a certain behavior normal. They adapt to be able to survive and over time they pass on those genes to future generations which will help the survival rate for those future generations. If the surroundings of an animal change, then they adapt to their surrounding and environment and they will make new innate behaviors.

I think innate behaviors are something very good and helpful. Innate behaviors help animals for survival reasons. If there was no innate behaviors then we would probably have issues with survival. Innate behaviors are something I think is very beneficial for survival and are needed in order for animals to survive. Overall, I think that innate behaviors are very important for survival and it is something that is needed in order for animals to survive.
