Though it's hard to see in this image, there is a cross walk with the option to flash a sign with lights to ensure that pedestrians have the ability to cross this double sided road safely. The addition of several cross walks identical to this one throughout the city helps prioritize the safety of the community members.

This is an image of the Lehi City Library. This building also appeared to be well kept and also located in a safe area accessible to all of the community members. This library offers books that residents can check out for free. In addition to a wide selection of literature, this library also allows guests computer access and free wifi.

This is a picture of the local fire department. This building seems to be well maintained and in a spot that makes it easy and accessible in times of emergency. This department I imagine contributes a great deal to the safety and well being of members in this community.

As I made my way back to this area of Lehi for further analysis it was fun to go in with a different mindset compared to the one I had the first time I visited. The first time I explored this area I was looking for flaws, and I didn't have to look hard to find them. Now after exploring and investigating assets of this area I have a new perspective on this community and what it has to offer. The fire department was the first area I explored along with a few streets I examined and found to have effect cross walks. These two aspects of the community are essential to maintaining the safety and health of this community. In addition to these two locations, I also visited the public library. This library offers a wide range of amenities that are free to the public. Lastly, I stumble upon multiple small businesses that are owned and managed by local members of the community. Small shops like this foster the growth of the community and offer members quality service right down the street from them. After a second visit to this area I began reflecting on my initial thoughts and how these ideas had changed after I identified so much good in this area. I think the most important lesson I learned during this two part assignment is that all communities have areas that could be improved upon, but if you have a more open mind to look past these flaws, all communities also have assets and qualities that make them unique.
