This gift acts as a gift from the parent. This helps to make the child's Christmas just a little bit more special and for the parent to send their child some love in a special way.

(I attached a link to their website if anyone in the Madison area is interested in volunteering or just wants to read more about it.) Basically how it works is incarcerated people send in letters with their requests for books, volunteers put together book packages for them and mail it to them with a note. My task was wrapping up and labelling the packages. I don't have a picture so you'll just have to take my word for it. It really like the space and the people were super nice and hopefully I was at least somewhat helpful. I'm planning to go back next week also.

This weekend I tried to do little things to help around the house, such as sweeping the floor and washing the dishes.
