We packed the place with relatives, filled the days with lake fun, and the nights with campfires, s’mores, and stories. A really special part was celebrating the incredible life of Grandma Joyce, who lived to 96 and gave us so many traditions to carry forward. For me, it was a perfect mix of relaxation and adventure… though my husband Jared might disagree- he swears family reunions are more “high-stress Olympics” than relaxing vacation. Either way, it was unforgettable and full of joy!

He is living at home for a few months, which is great because I get to see him every day. We also visited Bryn in Colorado, where she lives and works as a photographer. Seeing my kids happy and thriving brings me joy.

Aly from CSB (she moved home and is looking for jobs as a Zookeeper--if you know anyone looking), Ty from ARCC (we moved them to Mankato where they are starting their Junior year-studying Graphic design), and Dylan who graduated from Rogers High School (we moved him to NDSU where he will be studying Finance). Summer was spent teaching summer school at Gleason Lake Elementary (gotta pay for all the school), reading all the books, and loving on my babies.

On this day we were joined by my daughter, her fiance', and my brother's family on the Lake 22 Trail. I highly recommend the Leavenworth, Washington area as a vacation destination.

We hiked to waterfalls near Asheville, NC. We also took a boat tour of Blue Springs Cavern near Bedford, Indiana. It's the longest navigable underground river in the US. I also bought more abandoned storage lockers and found some good treasures to sell on eBay!

In July we went to the Yacht Club Festival in St. Paul and saw Weezer, Green Day, Garbage, and 311. Next up was Ghost at Excel, followed by Jimmy Eat World and The Offspring at Target. Oh, and throw a Nate Bargatze show in there as well!
