         <description><![CDATA[<div>For Jamestown settling was very hard, since the water was unfit for drinking, and clouds of mosquitoes attacked from nearby swamps.- Lila Jantzen. <br>For Puritans settling was difficult, since the Puritans had very strict laws to follow such as, everyone had to go to one church services. if they refused they would be punished by public punishment or put to death.- Lila Jantzen,and  Luca  <br><br>For Pilgrims settling was at first terrible,since they suffered from hunger, cold, and disease. The reason why it was unique is because they offered to buy the land of the native Americans instead of taking it. Another reason is that they were  trade partners and friends with one group of Native Americans but bitter rivals with the other group.
