         <description><![CDATA[<div>&nbsp;I thought that the most interesting fact about Lafayette that he traveled all that way to join the continental army and he got rejected then i liked that he wrote a letter to them saying how much he wanted to join.It really surprised me that what we think that Washinton was a really nice and inviting guy would not let anyone in his inner circle. </div>]]></description>

Washington gave Lafayette a chance to prove himself and Lafayette was wounded in the fight but still kept fighting and he was taken from the battlefield a hero even the the battle was lost to the British.<br><br><br>2. Lafayette was very loyal to General Washington. Washington had let Lafayette into his circle which Washington calls his family.
