Turkey generally believes that the existence of mankind and other forms of life came to be through creationism as a part of the Islamic faith. They believe that all other forms of life were formed out of water by God prior to the creation of people. The existence of humans came to be when God created the first two people (man and woman), Adam and Hawwah out of clay that were brought to life through divine the breath of God entering their bodies; they believe them to be the parents if humanity. From that point onwards, they believe that organisms have lived on Earth without change and that this will continue. (Isha Nayab)

Sewall Green Wright was an american geneticist who proposed the shifting balance theory. He believed in small populations, the less fit may be more successful than the more fit (even to the extent of replacing them entirely) due to random but significant changes in the gene pool. He believed that the processes of adaptation, natural selection, and genetic drift allowed this to happen. (Krishal Dhungana)

Hinduism not only believes in evolution but also takes a step forward and believe that souls evolve as well. They believe that Lord Brahma is the creator of all universes, Vishnu who sustains the creation, and Shiva who’s the destroyer of all evil. Furthermore, according to the Hindu texts, whenever Brahma sleeps the world is destroyed, and every morning when he wakes up, it is created again along with the souls of humankind + living things around us. To conclude, all species including humankind are believed to have devolved from a high state of pure consciousness. (Tvisha Gandhi)

Hugo de Vries was a Dutch geneticist who studied heredity in the 1800s. He began his studies a little while after Charles Darwin introduced his theory. After working with primrose plants and observing the changes between generations, he concluded that the "mutations" he saw in the plants meant that new species plants were being produced. This led him to disagree with Darwin's theory and Hugo de Vries believed that evolution occurred through "discontinuous variation" (large changes happening over a short period of time). According to his "mutation theory," organisms will have mutations in their genes that will greatly affect the organism and result in a new species altogether. Once the new species has evolved, it will stop changing and stay the same forever. (Trinity Thai)

(Ancient Chinese) Zhuang Zhou (c. 369 – 286 BC), a Taoist philosopher, expressed ideas on changing biological species. Taoism denies that biological species are fixed and Taoist philosophers speculated that species had developed differing attributes in response to differing environments. The religion regards humans, nature and the heavens as existing in a state of "constant transformation" known as the Tao, in contrast with the more static view of nature typical of Western thought. He believed that the interaction with these forces on the elements created Earth’s inhabitants.

Dr. V.J.M. de Silva expresses skepticism towards Darwinian evolution. As he explains that evolution (neo-Darwinism) is not a theory that has been proved. Different parts of Sri lanka have different opinions but mainly they simply don't feel so convinced about the theory. He explains how intelligent scientists are suppose to accpet it but its something the people of the country don't follow through since they have religion involved. Silva also knows how to recognize the false information put out by the Darwinian community ( nethya gunaraj)
