What are the activities in facebook that have been assigned to you this semester and are these activities have helped to you in improving your English language skills?

There are many activities that assigned to us this semester first we need to do parts of speech practice exercise.This activities help me to improve in grammar and can identify which parts of speech and also help to make a sentence based it.then,we assigned to do LIRA practice and upload the real LIRA test in the facebook.this test teach me how to make a summary and short story from a long story that has been listening.it also improve our English reading skill.second activities is,we need to upload roleplay video based on situation that given by the lecturer.this roleplay really help me improving my speaking skill because I a poor in speaking,it also help me to give a idea and opinion.the third activities, that assigned is to upload the video what activities that we do during mid sem break.I make a video holiday and out dinner with my family at kuala perlis.And the last,we need to do a video to promote a special and famous food around merbok and sungai petani kedah.The conclusion is,all activities that assigned teach me many knowledge and improve especially in speaking and grammar.

I think the video uploads in facebook have helped me in improving my speaking because on that video I can improve my poor language in English.I have upload 2 video in fb.On the role play video it teach me how to give an opinion directly and give confident for me to speaking even I don’t have confident to speaking because worried to say the wrong word.so,I think I require to do more practice in speaking to improve my weakness.

Describe your”Week without walls”(www)video project.how did the process of working on this video help you to become an independent learner?

The week without wall(www)video project is we need to promote some special and popular food around merbok and sungai petani kedah.we can go out to where restaurants around sungai petani to attract visitors come to the restaurant to enjoy and try the specials food that served.the video can help to become an independent learner with we look for a place to do the project without the help from lecturer and directly do the video in its own way.

Are you satisfied with your performance in ELC 121 especially in speaking skill?

I think I satisfied with my performance in ELC121 especially in speaking skill because it give a little confident to speaking even I know I need more practice to improve.based that,it give me more knowledge how to give good and perfect idea and an opinion during conversation with friends or classmates.especially during do the presentation and role play.i think I have done the best performance in ELC12.

BROOKS DAME(SACRIFICE)

Based on the inspirational stories that I listened from Brooks Dame.there are many moral lessons that can motivated us.one of the moral is we must dare to try something like brooks dame he try to overcome his fear on needles and sign up for a bone marrow registry for donoted to the other people who most need it.so,I think we should try to overcome our fear baecause if you don’t try you never know that you can do it.

Next,his stories that give us moral lesson to sacrifice for other happiness.for example,brooks dame still want to donated his marrow bone to the patients need,though he know the procedure is very painful and danger.on my opinion,I think we don’t never feel regret for make other people happy.

Conclusion of his stories,sacrifice is something noble and need to be appreciated.for me I am very appreciated on brooks dame sacrifice because he willing to do anything for other happiness.

THE DEVOTED FRIEND

Based on the stories that I listened to the devoted friend by Oscar wildle.there are many moral lessons that motivated to everybody.one of the moral lessons is be a loyal like Little Hans had a great many friends,but the most devoted friend of all was big Hug the Miller,for example devoted was the rich Miller to Little Hans,that he would never go by his garden wihout learning over the wall and plucking a large nosegay,or a handful of sweet herbs or filling his pocketd with plums and cherries if it was the fruit season.In my opnion,we should proud and be grateful if have a real friends with such noble idea and kind hearted.

Then,the moral lesson that I learned in this stories is we must help each other.for example,The little Hans help Miller because his little boy has fallen off a ladder and hurt himself.So,I thinks we should always help each other whatever situation or if someone in trouble.

Conclusion,of the stories friendship was important in our life,because without friend we cant do anything.so important for us to find a real friend that can help you anytime.
