Thank you for the service that took place this morning , though virtual nevertheless our praise and thanks still has the same meaning. Though we are now at the end of another lords day we thank you that you have walked with us as you did with the two on the Emmaus road as you opened the scriptures to them they constrained you to abide with them , it was towards evening and lord we sing sometimes Abide with me fast falls the even tide, the darkness deepens Lord with me abide. That this is our desire tonight that you will draw near to us. We are told in your word that if we draw near to you , you will draw near to us. The hymn writer said you are coming to a King large petitions with you bring for his love and power are such that none can ever ask too much and Lord this is amazing that there is nothing which we cannot bring before you. So we pray lord give us your presence this evening and through the night, O that we might know what it is with the psalmist to lay down and rest, for you o lord allow us to lay down in safety. So thank you Lord for all your mercies they are new every morning great indeed is your faithfulness and so we pray that you will except of our worship , thanks and praise and thanksgiving. Bless all those lord who took any part in the service this morning that you will give them your joy and peace. Remember those who are sick especially our dear friends, those who are recently bereaved I pray for Julie and family in the loss of her mum help, comfort and bless. Help us to be aware of your presence. Help us each to be sensitive to your voice, guiding us , leading us and speaking to us. We commit all those we love to you, all too who are sick, alone, isolated, sick, bereaved or in any kind of difficulty. Help them to know and feel your presence close at hand. Please guide all our Governments towards responsible decision making and We especially ask that you will guide those working on treatments and vaccines for Covid to successful outcomes .
