I became mesmerized with now simple the movies is presented and the simplicity that Jiro brought to his sushi, yet it has an extraordinary taste (based on customer reviews). It is visually appealing being able to see the sushi being made in slow motion. The movie depicts Jiro's life in general, from when he was a child to when the documentary was taken. The documentary not only focuses on Jiro, but his sons as well, whom are trying to follow their father's footsteps. The sons trying to achieve that same level of excellence as Jiro, but not fully being able to. I believe that the way the film was constructed best supported the movie. The movie was clear, clean, and precise, which is what Jiro hold himself and his sons by when making and obtaining his image of the sushi/restaurant. The film captures Jiro's love for sushi and everything it is to him, and how it effected him in a positive way. The only bias I see is that the director believes that Jiro sushi is the best, which could be true, but there could be places outside Japan that have the same level of quality that Jiro's sushi does.
