Effective communication is a cornerstone of success in various aspects of life. A public speaking workshop could equip students with the skills to express themselves confidently, articulate their ideas, and engage with an audience. These skills are essential not only for academic presentations,Oral examinations and Direct School admission interviews, but also for future professional endeavors.  Overcoming the fear of public speaking and mastering the art of conveying ideas coherently would undoubtedly empower our students to become effective communicators and leaders. Therefore, I am of the opinion that this would be of immense value to the students, equipping them with the knowledge and skills essential for their ongoing examinations and providing them with a competitive advantage for their forthcoming professional pursuits.


I firmly believe that these workshops align with our commitment to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are prepared for the challenges of the modern world. By offering students a chance to explore their interests beyond the traditional classroom setting, we create an environment that values diverse talents and encourages personal growth.

The baking workshop is a great option for an enrichment activity for the last week of Term 4 because I believe that it will prove to be useful for students. The baking workshop will allow for students to gain more knowledge, such as baking, which is the point of the workshop. It would allow students to learn values such as patience and resilience. Students can learn to be patient because some baking recipes require a long time to prepare the mix and bake completely. Students can also learn resilience because some recipes need people to mix it for a long period of time, which can make a person's hand feel incredibly sore, should a stand mixer not be included. These useful skills and values can help students a huge amount with the daily lives, whether they have an interest in baking or not. Resilience can help students when they are facing a difficult or tiring situation and feel like giving up. Patience is also useful as it helps students when they face a situation where they are forced to wait for a long period of time. Therefore, I would prefer the baking workshop since it is a useful activity for students and can help them develop skills and values.

This three-day course workshop is also a great option for an enrichment activity for the last week of Term 4 because I believe that it will prove to be enjoyable to students. I have no doubt that students who already have an interest or hobby in baking will find the workshop to be an amazing experience, which will allow them to learn new recipes and new baking techniques. I think that the baking activity will be useful for students m. It not only teaches on the value of patience but to the value of commitment. Baking requires much patience as its recipe is slow and tiresome. To achieve the end pastry, we are not able to give sip halfway no matter how many times we have failed, hence it is useful as it teaches us values one can not simply learn in school
