In this system kings and warriors were actually lower than priests. There were also people called untouchables who did the dirty work and as a cause they were not allowed to touch anyone and no one would touch them. In addition, people did not have a choice as to what class they would be in. The class was chosen by the family they were born into. These last to facts about it seem very unfair.
