         <description><![CDATA[<div>Glycogen is a multibranched polysaccharide of glucose that serves as a form of energy storage in animals, fungi, and bacteria. The polysaccharide structure represents the main storage form of glucose in the body<br><br><strong>Complex carbohydrates</strong> are present in foods such as bread and pasta. <strong>Simple carbohydrates</strong> are in foods such as table sugar and syrups. <strong>Complex carbohydrates</strong> contain longer chains of sugar molecules than <strong>simple carbohydrates</strong>. The body converts these sugar molecules into glucose, which it uses for energy.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>in insoluble substance which is the main constituent of plant cell walls and of vegetable fibers such as cotton <br><br><strong>Carbohydrates</strong> such as starch are detected by mixing a sample with 2–4 drops of iodine or Lugol's solution. The solution will turn from a yellow-brown color to a dark purple if starch is present. They consist of long chains of amino acids, which are bonded together by peptide linkages and thus called polypeptides. There are about 20 amino acids, and the atoms most prevalent in these are <strong>carbon</strong>, <strong>hydrogen</strong>, <strong>oxygen</strong>, <strong>nitrogen</strong>, and <strong>sulfur<br><br></strong>For example, <strong>proteins</strong> are composed of <strong>monomers</strong> called amino acids. They are linked together to form a polypeptide chain, which folds into a three dimensional structure to constitute a functional <strong>protein<br><br></strong>Acts as a Messenger.<br><br>Amino acids are the monomers that make up <strong>proteins</strong>.
