Iran always had a bad relationship towards America, however things have turned from 0-100 for Iran has been suspicious of building and trying to obtain nuclear weapons. This suspicious behavior has not only caused tension between neighboring countries such as Israel but also to the U.S and its allies. In retaliation to this America and its foreign allies decided to make economic sanctions which would decrease and disrupt the economy for Iran. Years Later The supreme leader of Iran (Ayatollah Ali Khamenei) would elect Hassain Rouhani as Iran's president and give him access to strike a deal with the U.S. This would then create the Iran Nuclear Deal which would suspend all Nuclear development in Iran in exchange for a suspension in economic sanctions. Although this deal sounded fair and reasonable to accomplish it would actually cause potential problems for the U.S for they're now in a position where they can't bring back the sanctions without provoking Iran. President Obama would explain how America is in the right step in gaining Iran's trust and further sanctions would break that trust. He would then go on and say that he would veto any bill allowing any further sanctions. For now Iran's nuclear programs have been put to a halt and that in itself is a win.

After the attacks during 9/11 america was mentally and physically scarred and all anybody could think about was who could of planned this terrorist attack. The government would focus all their efforts into finding the mastermind and bring him to justice. The first Clue they found was that the Masterminds name is Osama Bin Ladin and he would be part of a terrorist group called Al Qaeda. They would also later learn that Al Qaeda's beliefs would also involve in the killing of other innocent Muslims meaning this was not only a problem for the United States but could also be a problem for other countries. Eventually all of America's searching would lead to Pakistan but they would encounter one problem. The Taliban which ran the government at the time were intentionally hiding Al Qaeda from the United States, so the U.S government would have to try to get rid of them before continuing their search. After dealing with the Taliban the U.S government had finally found Osama and ambushed him. This ambush would lead to Osama's death and the U.S government's work was over. Osama's death would later be announced to the public by president Obama. Now the public could feel a little better after 9/11 knowing that the mastermind behind this was delivered justice.

The Sandy Hook Shooting in Connecticut shows another example of how gun-violence was prevalent during the Obama era. The Sandy Hook Shooting caused the deaths of twenty children and six adults. Sandy Hook would be another example of gun violence for there were other examples of Gun violence happening in Hartford, Bridgeport, and Aurora Colorado. This would cause a debate on the needed limitations and restrictions on guns. The victims of Sandy Hook and other people want an increase in gun restrictions and limitations so that people would have a harder time obtaining for they would be under a tedious process to earn one. However gun advocates and businesses that sell guns are obviously against this Idea. With both sides getting increasing support it's hard for legislators to make their final decision. However through the speaking of the victims parents this could help create a decrease in gun violence.

After the 9/11 terrorist attacks all the United States could think about was who could have planned these terrible actions. The U.S government would pour all their resources into finding and bringing the mastermind to justice. First they would learn that the mastermind behind these attacks was a man named Osama Bin Laden and he would be the leader of a terrorist group called Al Qaeda. With this new information the United States asked their allies around the world to help search for Al Qaeda’s location. Their search would lead them to Pakistan, however their government was run by the Taliban who would intentionally hide Al Qaeda from the United States. In retaliation the United States would overthrow the Taliban and get more information on Al Qaeda’s location. Finally the government was able to uncover Osama’s location and delivered a final ambush which would lead to Osama’s death. With the mission completed Obama would deliver a message to the public about Osama’s death and America’s war on terror. Although 9/11 will still remain a sad day in many people’s hearts. At least justice was delivered and their pain won’t be forgotten.

The Sandy Hook shooting would be a reminder to the United States of the recent and prevalent issue of Gun violence. The Sandy Hook shooting would cause the deaths of 20 children and 6 adults. This would not be the first shooting that would take place for other shootings would also take place in other locations such as Hartford, Bridgeport, And Aurora Colorado. This would all lead to a debate on the accessibility of guns and how restricted they should be. Many people including the victims of these attacks would ask for a change in gun laws and add more limitations and restrictions to them so they could be less accessible. Businesses selling guns and gun advocates say that these restrictions would solve nothing and that this would only hurt their profit and be an invasion to their rights. With both sides having a large crowd of supporters it’s hard for legislators to make a decision. However through these recent tragedies it would hopefully lead to a change in gun laws and a decrease in Gun violence.

The Iranian Nuclear Deal helped in gaining some connection between Iran and America. Although things started to get rocky after the embassy hostage crisis this may be the chance for Iran and America to gain some common ground and eventually become allies. Although this event has not impacted me in the slightest I would say that this did impact many others in Iran. Many people in Iran are poor and can’t really help themselves too much and because of the economic sanctions they have been experiencing they are put in a worse position. With this new deal they now have a better chance in helping themselves. With no more economic sanctions stopping them from gaining more money and resources they now have an opportunity to escape the destitute lives they had before. This has also may have started to change the supreme leader's ideals and cause him to stop having negative views of America because at the end of the day all we want is peace. This could possibly be shown with Russia-Ukraine war for America is already pouring resources into helping Ukraine fend for themselves against Russia. This of coulda been an opportunity for the Supreme Leader of Iran to start pouring Iran’s resources into continuing its research on an Atomic bomb but they haven't done that. This may be a stretch but this could be a possible chance of Iran showing a somewhat mutual relationship with America. If America won’t bring problems to them then they won't give problems to them and I'm here for it.

Osama’s death may have sparked joy or relief within the hearts of many Americans. For a man that has done so much damage to America in one day alone has been brought to justice. His death has also shown how America will pour it’s resources into defeating Terrorist organizations and winning this War against Terror. Another good example would be America’s battle against ISIS or the “Islamic State”. This is another Islamic extremist group that would spread its ideals through weapons and force. In 2019 a final battle between ISIS and the U.S would take place in Northern Syria which would end in the Islamic State’s (ISIS) leader being killed and thousands of group members to be killed or captured by U.S military. With the leader killed and thousands of members being killed and/or captured there would be little-no activity left from the group. With one less terrorist group to worry about, many countries around the world would feel safer and in my point of view I have more confidence that the U.S military could deal with any other terrorist group if they put enough time and effort, while also making correct decisions.

The Sandy Hook Shooting is one of many tragedies to come in the near future and it makes me question everyday where are the quickest and nearest exits in my building when something like this happens. I feel like everyday there is shooting or attack in a public building that happens and causes me to never want to be anywhere but home. Limitations and Restrictions have been in place to decrease the likelihood of stuff like this happening but it feels nonsensical to me how different states have different regulations and restrictions. I could get a gun easier if I went to Texas then here which is weird to me for it feels like no matter how strict one area could be it could be easily bypassed if I went somewhere else. Shootings and violence are more prevalent in the U.S because they’re not enough federal laws that limit guns and are making the states do it themselves which obviously would lead to places being stricter than others. I feel like this will never change and because it feels like going outside is never a comforting place for me. What’s worse is that last year people were putting threats of a shooting as a joke to leave school and the school did such a terrible job to even prepare for such a thing. It makes me lose faith that I could be safe here when such an event happens. Although it’s sad and depressing that such things exist it won’t weigh me down and make me sad but it’s always something that I keep in the back of my mind.
