Learning is being driven by objectives, but content becomes more wholistic, incorporating all content areas and learning process. Project-based learning and labs represent the majority of the learning process and are facilitated by the instructor. Core content materials are completed in an asynchronous form, so students can be working through the content at their own pace. Each station has defined purpose and students are able to work at each station knowing what is expected of them.

One question I have is how do we take station work to the next level ? Another thing that I liked was the "buddy time" students were able to openly discuss and collaborate with each other. Students can learn from each other, this also may create confidence for students that may be unwilling to share due to language issues or gaps in their learning.

Cons

If students share things real time they may not be appropriate.
