He didn't have family or an education. He had fallen in love with boxing at a young age. He grew up with his adoptive parents and he was abused one time he got his teeth knocked out. He was always looking for family and he didnt find it in the right place. he started the gym and made it like a home for these kids. He says "People on the streets will be your family but at a cost." He dropped out of Highschool he didn't have a job and he didn't have a place to stay. Somehow he was still able to turn his whole life around. He started a gym were he could tutor kids so that they wouldn't follow the same path he did and so far 98% of the kids from his gym go to college.
