1. It takes place in the future on a planet far away. We know this because the narrator talks about earth as a distant planet/place. We know that it takes place in the future, because we don’t have the kind of means today to travel from “star to star” and survive on planets so far away. The robots that we have today are not nearly as advanced as the one telling the story.

2. It’s a kind robot, who wants to help the person feeling ill. It takes care of him, by “turning him off”, not knowing that it killed him.

3. Its bones are obviously not made of calcium. Their bones are made of titanium. The man is made of flesh that disappears when the blood stops flowing. The robot may corrode, but it won’t disappear.

4. What if Robots could live in their own society, functioning as human beings? What if technology could advance so much, that we would be able to travel from star to star leaving colonies behind?
